D.S. Craig

Bio

I’m D.S. Craig, an American author of light novels in the fantasy genre. I used to be an avid reader when I was younger. However, as I got older and busier, I started reading less and less. A few years ago, I ended up reading the first volume of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

I got hooked. I started reading almost every light novel series that even remotely caught my interest. Even now, you can frequently find me at my computer or with a kindle in my lap, reading the latest release of some series.

Eventually, I decided that I wanted to try writing fantasy adventures. I chose to focus on the light novel format because of how much I enjoy them. They’re quick and easy to read. Plus, you don’t have to wait years and years for the story to continue.

Outside of writing and reading, I’m also an anime lover. I started watching anime on Toonami as a kid and never stopped. Some of my favorite shows include Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Wing, and Anohana.

Through anime, I discovered another passion of mine, the Japanese language. I studied it while I was in college and even studied abroad in Tokyo for a year. Thanks to that, I can speak Japanese at a conversational level, though my ability to read kanji is as miserable as ever.
